ABOUT THE AUTHOR::

Born in the State of Artibonite, Haiti, Huguens Louis-Pierre attended Centred'Etudes Secondaires high school CES in Port- Au-Prince. Later he entered the College of Law and Economics Sciences of Port-Au-Prince. He left Haiti a few years later to settle in the State of New York, USA. There he went back to college to pursue a curriculum in Business Management and graduated in 1998. "Sur de Nouvelles Rives" is his first publication. He has a lot of enthousiasm and passion about writing. He contributes to the education of haitian youth in general. He is also a math teacher and a columnist for the L'expression, a Haitian newspaper in New York.

He joined some Haitian colleagues in the media and co-host a radio show and a tv show regarding Haitian community issues. "2004 Nan Linite ( 2004 in Unity )", "Haiti, le Geant qui Dort ( Haiti, the Sleeping Giant )", "la Repentance ( the Repentance )" all already published in the newspaper Haiti Progres, Tambour and many other religious magazines. Soon "Eva ma Belle", a novel and "Mon Oeil Critique" a volume of short stories will be published.
