A BRIEF
NOTE ON THE HOSTESS/EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
 Maria
Jarvelle Gaston was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and raised
in Brooklyn, New York. She acquired a Bachelor of Science
from Long Island University majoring in International Marketing
and Management.
She was Assistant Publicity Coordinator for Wormen’s
and Children’s fashions at JCPenney – Corporate
Marketing Headquarters, and went back to Haiti in 1988 after
the company moved its headquarters to Dallas, TX. During
her 12 years living in Haiti, she was Merchandising and
Marketing Manager for Acra Department Store, Marketing Director
for SONACOM (authorized agent for Northern Telecom) and
Marketing Director for Acra Financial Services.
Ms. Gaston returned to New York in 2000. At the present
time, she is the President and CEO of JARVELLE'S
MARKETING, LLC, Chairwoman and CEO of JARVELLE’S
CORPORATION, President & CEO of MaJaGa Productions,
Inc. and an Associate of ADA
& Associates (Alix Desulme & Associates) –
a marketing firm in Miami, FL. Ms. Gaston is also a Board
Member of Haitian-American Voters Organization (HAVO). |
